Man of Prayer

unnamed-1

My husband is an amazing man, with GREAT qualities! However I would be doing my husband and family a HUGE disservice if I didn’t continue to pray for him. In the good times and hard times I should always be lifting my husband up in prayer.

Colossians 4:2 says: Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Not only should I devote myself to praying for my husband but I should be praying for him to be praying. Wow that is a lot of praying 🙂

Lord God, I pray that my husband will be a man of prayer, that as he walks through the day that there would be a constant communication with you. I pray not only for conversation prayer to happen for my husband but also for battle prayers would  be part of my husbands daily communication with you. I pray scripture would be on his lips as a form of YES and AMEN style of prayers. I pray that he would lift up the kids and myself in prayer. I pray that he will be encouraged and refreshed when he takes the time to pray!

Join me as I pray for my husband. The role of a husband, man of the house, provider, spiritual leader, man of integrity, partner and friend, is not a role that should be without prayer. Let us all cover these men in our lives with intentional prayer.
