Description
Fundamentum Volume 1: A Biblical Foundations Homeschool Guide
Build a strong biblical foundation in your home, one truth at a time.
Fundamentum Volume 1 is a Scripture-rich homeschool guide designed to help families intentionally disciple their children in the foundational truths of the Christian faith. Built on a 4-day-a-week block schedule, this guide gives structure to your homeschool day while still allowing room for flexibility, family culture, and age-appropriate independence.
Each week is centered on one of the Five Solas, giving your family a clear theological focus:
- Sola Scriptura
- Sola Fide
- Sola Gratia
- Solus Christus
- Soli Deo Gloria
That weekly doctrinal theme is then reinforced through the hymn focus of the week, helping children connect rich theology with worship. In this way, truth is not only taught, it is also sung, remembered, and treasured.
Alongside that, each day includes a Proverbs wisdom reading, helping cultivate discernment, character, and practical biblical understanding in the everyday rhythm of family learning.
How the Block Schedule Works
This guide uses a consistent 8-block daily rhythm, making it easy to establish a peaceful, repeatable homeschool flow.
Some blocks are content-rich and fully guided within the curriculum, while blocks marked with an asterisk (*) are intentionally left for the family to provide. This gives you room to shape your homeschool day according to the ages and needs of your children.
Those starred blocks may be used for:
- Whole-family table learning
- Independent work
- One-on-one instruction
- Family-selected resources
- Skill work that varies by child
This makes Fundamentum ideal for families teaching multiple ages at once.
