April 18th – Daily Prayer

Focus: Integrity

Verse: Proverbs 10:9

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.

Dear Lord, I pray that my children will learn to walk with integrity. I pray as they are walking in Your path that they will realize: when you walk in integrity, you walk securely.  Guide their path, and help them to be sure footed.

April 17th – Daily Prayer

Focus: Faith

Verse: Ephesians 5:8-9

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)

Dear Lord, I pray that my children will see and receive Your Light. I pray they will come out of the darkness and enter into Your Holy Presence. May they see the path set before them on their walk of faith, that is lit by Your Glorious Light.

April 16th – Daily Prayer

Focus: Forgiveness

Verse: Ephesians 4:32

32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Dear Lord, we thank you for the gift of forgiveness that You extend to us. I pray that my children would learn to forgive others as freely and with compassionate hearts as You have forgiven them. Lord let us not withhold our forgiveness from others, and let us be quick to be kind and loving while offering grace.

April 15th – Daily Prayer

Focus: Honesty

Verse: Hebrews 4:14-16

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,[a] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Dear Lord, I pray that my kids would learn Your Truth, and through Your Truth they would be set free from the temptations of the Devil. Satan comes only to steal, kill and destroy, BUT you come that we may have life and have it to the fullest! Lord build up your children, give them the tools to help them in their time of need. Let us all hold firmly to the faith we profess, and to the mercy and grace extend to us through you Lord.

April 14th – Daily Prayer

Focus: Vulnerability

Verse: 2 Cor. 12:9-10

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Lord I pray my children will rely on you for strength. I pray that when they are weak, they will remember that you are strong! Lord Your power is made perfect in our weakness. Your Glory shows through the ability for us to rely on You to get us through. May my children see Your strength displayed through them.

April 11th – Daily Prayer

Focus: Adventure

Verse: Hebrews 11:32-40

32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning;[a] they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in cavesand in holes in the ground.

39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

Lord God, I pray my kids greatest adventure in life, would be found in YOU! I pray as they path and purpose unfolds that they would be set on a pursuit of righteous faith. May they see the power and glory that is found in doing your will! May their life be a God centered Adventure!

April 7th – Daily Prayer

Focus: Humility

Verse: Matthew 18:5-6, 10

And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea

10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Dear Lord, I pray that my children will learn humility by seeing me as an example to them. I pray that they will know how treasured they are by God. May they see how to approach life with humility and strength at the same time. They are so precious to You LORD, and to me!
