Daily Prayer – February 13th

February 13th – You are Lovely

February is a time where we think about Valentine’s Day and love. But, more important during this month I am making it a goal to focus on our Identity in Christ. This is a great time to personal refocus as well as teach our kiddos the power of who we are in Jesus Christ.

Daniel 12:3 says,

Those who are wise[a] will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

You are as lovely as the stars! Seriously, I love being out in nature, away from the city lights and look up at the stars. It is a breathtaking experience, they are so lovely! We who are wise in truth and grace will shine like the brightness of the heavens. Being lovely comes from not only God’s desire for us but also from His purpose carried out by us!

Dear Father,

Thank you for the passion and plan you have for my life! Thank you that I am considered lovely in your eyes. But even more so I praise you for your promises and purpose for me to carry out! When I look up at the stars and reflect on their loveliness I will be inspired all the more to use the wisdom to share with others!

Daily Prayer – July 20th

During the Month of July we are taking time to PRAY for Our Nation!

Lost Saved

2 Thessalonians 3:1

Finally, brothers,[a] pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored,[b] as happened among you,

Dear Lord, I pray that our Nation would be the voice that speaks the truth and spread to those that have not heard. May we spread the word of Jesus, and see those who are lost found.

Character and Integrity

James 1:22

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Dear Lord, I pray that our Pastors and Leaders would not just listen and read your WORD but respond to it in action! Let them BE your WORD!

Prayers for Pastors Day 4

Daily Prayer – April 20th

Focus: Discipline

Verse: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

The Need for Self-Discipline

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize

Lord, I pray my children would learn Self-Discipline. I pray they will run the race set before them with courage, strength, determination, and perseverance. Let them remember they are running the race not for earthly treasures but for treasures in heaven.
